Naw, I have an average Beef score. And if I go to TriCell with only stories about the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation they'd lock me up in the loony bin, and if I go to the government I'd get busted by the Sirius executive who are bound to be hanging around. I'll go to the patent office. I hear you can publish anything you want in the patent office which noone looks at twice.

Sadly,there isnt one in gorleston.Youll have to either find some transportation to go to Beccles,or find a computer and a bank to email the patent and get your money electronically.

No problem, I have one of those Internet sheets. I use the Internet sheet to email the patent and get my dollar(s).

Hey there, sorry for not being here yesterday.
So, after being deserted by the robot, Nik doesn't know what to do. There's no point in going to the car crash now; it would be too late to do anything. He starts off in a random direction and finds he is headed for the military base.

I arrive at the military base, and declare my allegiance to the Queen, and I show them my way of attaching weapons to robots.

Once you arrive,the guards let you in immediately,and point you to one of the barracks.When you pass them,you can hear them whispering "Another poor bastard for the junk yard...".

In the barracks,you are greeted by some private,and told to wait a bit.You inform him that you have something important to show them,but he sais to wait for the general.

Once the general Arthur arrives,you show him your work,and he is impressed.He orders for some technitians to be brought after your briefing so you can show them the process,and for you to be payed 1000$.

Then he briefs you(this,I will send you in a private message,since it will be just your knowledge.You are free to share it to anyone who you meet,but it wont be public knowledge.And any other major plot point from now on will be shared strictly in private messages).

Let's see...what can I get for $2000...+4 is 1500, I'll get that, so my balance is 500, what is the hotel's nightly rate? Weekly rate? I'll have to find a new office sooner or later...or I might be able to hitch a ride on a passing starship, if possible, though probability is low.

Hmmm...Youve crashed on earth,so Im guessing thats not something you knew beforehand...However you were on earth for 5 years.Ok,Ill limit your knowledge.You do know that some extra terrestrials passed through gorleston military base,but thats it.You suspect that other military bases throughout the world have similar policies,but you have no clue.

I know I can't do Swiss Lord mind tricks yet, but the guard doesn't know that. With my commanding presence, he cowers and I get a +1 on my next use roll. I enter the compound, looking for extra terrestrials carefully.

Actually,you dont enter,but are escorted to the commander.Who looks at you blankly:"Yes?Whats this about?"
(when bluffing,be careful what youre asking for.Also,when bluffing,wait for me to tell you the modifiers.Some things will be impossible,no matter how good you are.Asking to see the commander isnt that difficult,so youll get just -1.Meaning you succeeded this time,but without modifiers for the next time).

Which he does.There is one officer(I have no clue how ranks go in brittish army,so except for generals and some leutenants,dont expect me to use exact ranks)there that hands you some papers to sign.

I check the papers to make sure there's no sneaky small print. Seeing there is none, I sign.

Youll also have to lie about your age.Luckily,since its a crisis,they dont ask for your ID for verification.

If this was without modifiers, just my +1 normal Use bonus, that's a 6, borderline success.

If we go on with that, let's assume that he acknowledges the SCC's bribery attempt, and whether the d4 I'll roll will determine whether he took money or not. 1-2, clean, 3-4, took money.
