I continue to the bar. I enter and scan the patronage for possible extraterrestrials. I wonder if anyone of them would be stupid enough to try to sell deathsticks.

We're now in the hotel, and I attempt to get the concierge to give me a room.

The Concierge happens to be extremely bored, and just gives us the keys to a room on the third floor.

Tough luck.Being very near the ruined bridge isnt very good for bussiness.Or stability.The bar is just a pile of ruble now.

The hotel is fine though.It is way to the west(if you follow the mill road,it ends on a nice stretch of field).

Anyway,while Nik is sleeping,what will you do Epsilon?Mount yourself with a gun?(you can modify yourself in any way you think of,as long as you roll well).

Fantastic! I attach a +2 gun onto myself, using a previously untried method. It works amazingly well, leaving me with no way to justify me suddenly gaining £1000. Perhaps a ninja saw my technique and rewarded me? Nobody will ever know

Well I wont give you the money immediately.But since you did such a great job on both hiding the weapon and preserving its +2 damage,you can sell the idea to any company,or military,and will get your money straight away.

All you see is humans.Not something disguised as human,but just humans.Which isnt surprising,since youve met just 2 extra terrestrials while on earth.And you remember that those in power are keeping the existance of non humans secret.So unless you go to some research lab or a military base,you probably wont find anyone.

There are cigarettes being sold,which are kind of like death sticks,but milder.

(8 hours later) I wake up Nik. He's slept long enough.

"Huh? Time for work already? ...Oh, it's you. Drat it."

I pick my face up from the counter as daylight streams.

"Wha-a- who's on first? Oh wait, that's me. Bartender, I'll have a cup of black coffee and a bag of peanuts. And a newspaper."

I can't remember what happened the previous evening, but I'm amazed that the place is still standing. I grab the stuff and pay for it, then head out to the lobby.

Epsilon and I go downstairs as well, knowing that it won't be safe here for long. We notice Dr. Who as we're going out the door, but ignore him.

I look at the funnies.

While reading the funnies,you glance at an article about TriCell collecting the robots from yesterdays attacks and trying to reprogram a few.

While browsing the frequencies,you stumble upon the same message again:"All robots still royal to the queen,head north towards the military base to carry out a special mission.You can save thousands of lives if you hurry."

I decide to read the article and go to the TriCell factory, before noting an article on tide irregularities.


I check the weather forecast, and find that the moon was in its new moon phase earlier.

There isnt really a TriCell factory in gorleston,but an office building in church walk.However,theyve erected a mobile lab overnight,which is located a bit north of hewett road.The article also mentions a bit of rivalry between TriCell and military about the rights to research these robots.

Sorry,but no can do.Since it was destroyed in combat,and last time you failed a lot,not to mention that it wasnt in perfect condition when you tampered with it the first time,it is now just a scrap of metal.Youll need some electronics in order to repair it.Also,that thing is really heavy(about 100kg),and really noticable.So tugging it with you will be a problem.You can try,if you want,but someone will notice.And you will be exhausted.

Although,you could use it as a bargain chip with TriCell.
