Out of character place

From now on,all the questions about the game,all the metagaming,rants,complaints,anything thats isnt in character,will be in this topic.That way,it is much easier to track what someone did.

Your first level up will be when you reach 4 XP(skipping 1 here),and then at 9,16,etc.Youll get one XP for each encounter(wheter it is a combat,puzzle,or something elese),and 1-3 for quests.

And if you describe your encounters as something more than just dice rolling,youll get bonuses(+ to luck,or additional luck roll,or extra XP,or extra equipment,etc).

There is only one lucky roll allowed per encounter,so use it wisely.It can be used to avoid critical failure,or to finish of some wounded enemy,or to avoid death.

Did I do that combat bit right?
Also: The rules of robotics as my character is programmed

1. Do not harm a human or though inaction allow a human to come to harm unless that human is considered to be a threat or insane.
   
2. Obey any order given by notable authority, unless obeying such an order would lead to breaking rule 1 or 3
   
3. Protect your own existence unless doing so would lead to braking rule 1.

It seems to me that it is unreasonably easy to kill oneself in combat. Won't that mean we have to keep making new characters all the time? It would make more sense to stick with the same ones.

Well,the system is designed for short plays(thus why gamemasters change in 5-10 minutes).Its for short and fun,not for something as epic and stretched as darths and droids.

We could add lives to everyone?Or more luck rolls(first time you die,you get to roll 3*luck,second time 2*luck,and after that,you always roll luck if you die,wheter you used it up,or not).

I would suggest that instead of killing ourselves we just do some damage, as determined by a die roll and the attack chart (basically like attacking yourself). Extra luck rolls would also work.
I think there could also possibly be more "accurate" weapons that would give +1 to your Hammer score while you were using them (they would be very expensive of course).

Im not really for modifying the system too much.It can get really confusing really fast.

But ok,instead of killing yourself,we can have 3 to be d4 damage,2 to be 2d4 and 1 to be 2d4 plus broken weapon.

Equipment for improving to hit will cost just like the weapons.So,a recoil compensator that gives +1 to hit will be 50$,a laser sight that gives +2 to hit will be 150$,laser scope that gives +3 will be 500$,and smart bullets that give +4 will be 1500$.So a weapon that gives +4 to hit and +4 damage will be 3000$.

In fact,any equipment that you can think of can be bought,or made.Just tell me here what you want,and Ill give you the price,or the bonus/penalty on your use roll for making it.

It is pretty clear that my character is going to die now, so, since he stinks at fighting, can he:
a) play dead and the robots stop shooting at him
b) use some of the wreckage as a shield to block incoming shots
c) hide underneath the wreckage so the robots won't find him
d) get saved by some deus ex machina occurrence (like someone else shooting the robots)
e) disguise himself as a robot and fool them
f) none of the above, he has to die and AF can roll up a new character

Maybe I shouldve put in psionics for these cases.Oh well.I recommend that you find some henchmen after this,or some combat vehicle(exoskeleton or bike with guns)when you get some money.

Sure.If you succeed at use.(-2 penalty for first,the second and third with normal bonuses)

Not in combat.But you can attempt such a thing before enemies notice you.

Almost anything you can come up with can be done.With certain modifiers,of course.And the more detailed your description of the thing you are attempting,the bigger bonus youll get.

Note on regeneration:While humans can regenarate by resting,robots cant.However,robots can repair themselves whenever there is metal and wire around.They can do this once per 24 hours only,for up to coruba hit points.
