Yeah,but I do this all the time.Once I had a superb dwarf warrior,and I managed to get killed 3 times in less than 30 minutes.Thats when the GM forbid me to respawn for free.

Anyway,converting the rules to a table is tedious....*sigh*

And see,thats why I dont like systems that use just a small number of various dice.They depend too much on luck.For example,the system of shadow run which I use(modified though),uses just d6s,but lots of them.So,if you pump 10 skill points into pistols,youd have to throw 10d6 to see if you hit,and how hard.And when your target number is 4,that means youll get at least 5 of those to be 4+,so you will score a hit for sure.

Ok,guys I want you to close your eyes and imagine how this battle went:

5 guys ambush an APC,and one of the soldiers guarding it fires a burst that recoils his weapon into the sky.While he is watching the sky,the guy at his back accidentally shoots his rifle before raising it,and shoots his own leg.Meanwhile,the other attacker manages to miss a guy who is as big as a wardrobe,and the third attacker just grazes his arm.That makes the huge guy so angry that he punches through the shooters head.Meanwhile,a lady with a sniper misses a soldier who is just a few feet away from her,but that one is disposed by a bullet from the fourth soldier.While that is going on,the APC turns its turret,and fires a burst past one of the guys in the front,while the other runs away horrified.The first defender finaly lowers his gun,but too much,and shoots his own toe.The guy that shot his own leg is screaming and flailing his gun,managing to shoot his other leg.The lady with the sniper takes pitty on him,and shoots him through the eye,to put him out of his misery.And the only remaining attacker has the misfortune of his gun exploding in his hands.

Thats...Thats something you wont see even in hot shots!Thats ridiculous!Thats how youd imagine retards would fight if someone gave them guns.Worse,thats how someone would imagine politicians and lawyers would fight if someone gave them weapons!

Im not saying they dont have it,but using them on a group of 5?Rockets,grenades,mines,sure.But artillery?You see,artillery is used for collateral damage,when there is a huge group you need to weaken and you dont care about the surroundings(meaning you are either invading,or the enemy already took a place from you).Its not used for killing the enemy but for weakening them.When dealing with a small group you need precision.Heck,you can even use homing missiles in this setting.Or robot kamikazees.

Well, mortars are cheap and portable, compared to other artillery. And they'd get better range that bazookas and the like. And homing missiles might be kinda expensive...well, it's an enemy stronghold.

But mortars are less precise,especially against a moving target.And are easy to avoid,especially in a town.

-Mortars: range, not so accurate, but they're artillery, and shells are cheap.
-RPGs: not so much range, line-of-sight, but can kill an APC but not a tank; they can immobilize by blowing off tracks, though.
-Homing missiles: best of all worlds, but expensive.

Did I mention that they have land mines?

Well thats what we have an engineer for.And as a GM,its your job to roll to see if he finds and disarms them,hehe

Oh,also,bazooka rockets are cheaper than mortar shells.And bazookas can be operated by just 1 person,while mortars usually need 2.

Ill wait to see what the rest of the team does.Especially Muscle and his tripping friends.Then Ill see what to do.
